The following students from Cecil Picard Elementary took part in the Vermilion Parish Physical Fitness Meet; Maddox Girouard, Aiden Martin, Luke Bernard, Madelyn Broussard, Lucy Oubre, and Lily LeBlanc. Madelyn Broussard placed second in the shuttle run, second in long jump, second in pull-ups, third in the 50 yard dash and first in overall events. She will be representing Cecil Picard Elementary at the State Championship Meet in Pineville Louisiana. Lucy Oubre placed first in pull-ups and curl ups event, Lily LeBlanc placed first in sit and reach. Lucy Oubre will also be an alternate representing CPE for the state championship. Maddox Girouard placed third in the curl up event.
Congratulations to all students for a job well done!

CPE 4-H club held its monthly meeting Tuesday. Members held their regular business meeting and then played games and discussed responsibilities. They also discussed Achievement Day which is a big parish event coming up!🍀🍀
Mrs. Becky's goat followed her to school today, and he had a lot of friends that loved on him. It was a fun surprise to see a goat at school today. 🐐🐐
