Week of October 1st-October 4th
-October 1: $1 Tshirt for Technology, 4H Meeting
-October 2: School Custodian Day
-October 3: Bobcat Bonus-Favorite Sport Shirt- This month our Bobcat Bonus is “Favorite Sport Shirt”. Shirts can represent ANY sport- football, basketball, Team LA, Voodoo Cheer, Saints, LSU, UL, etc. Jerseys can be worn with a t-shirt underneath if they are sleeveless/netted/etc. Students must wear uniform bottoms.
-October 4: On Fridays, students can wear jean pants or athletic pants for $1.00 with a Dozier Spirit shirt or uniform shirt. Skirts, shorts, skorts, leggings, jeggings, or tights are not allowed on Fridays.
Week of October 7th-October 11th
-October 7-11: Book Fair- The Scholastic Book Fair, 4H Week, Monday, October 7, 2024: Go GREEN for 4-H! Students can wear green shirts and green accessories with uniform bottoms! The following is from the Vermilion Parish Handbook and will be adhered to for this special event: Tops – See- through, tight fitting, or that which exposes the mid- section are prohibited. This shall include, but not be limited to halter tops, crop tops, tank tops, sun dresses, spaghetti straps, noodle straps, and mesh tops, etc.
-October 8th: Hats Off to 4-H! Students can wear a hat with their uniform. $1 Tshirt for Technology, Vision and Hearing PreK, K, 1, 3, & 5,
-October 9th: End of the 1st 9 weeks, Wednesday, October 9, 2024: Socktober! Bring NEW socks of All sizes in original packaging. Students that bring in a donation can wear crazy socks
the same day.

-October 14th--October 14-15 Fall Break (No school for students.)
-October 16: No School for Students-Parent/ Teacher Conferences- On Wednesday, October 16th, we will have Parent/ Teacher Conferences for all students. Your child’s teacher will reach out to schedule a time for your conference. Students do not attend school on this day. Report Cards will be given at conferences
-October 17: Perfect Attendance Reward- On Thursday, October 17th, we will have a Free Dress day for students with Perfect Attendance. -October 25: $1 Jean/Athletic Pants Spirit Day, 50th Day of School
Week of October 28th-November 1, 2024
-October 28- Red Ribbon Week Monday: My Life is too BRIGHT for Drugs Wear neon/bright colored shirts with uniform bottoms.
-October 29 Red Ribbon Week Tuesday: Be On a Bully Free Team, Wear your favorite team/Sports shirt/jersey with uniform bottoms., $1 Tshirt for Technology
-October 30 Red Ribbon Week Wednesday: Red-y to be Drug Free Wear red! - Red shirts, socks, shoes, bows, etc. Uniform bottoms must be worn.
-October 31 Red Ribbon Week Thursday: Think of all you can be when you stay drug free. Dress like what you want to be when you grow up! Snack Cart, Halloween Parties, Bobcat Bonus-Favorite Sport Shirt- This month our Bobcat Bonus is “Favorite Sport Shirt”.
